What is COR? – COR® is an occupational safety and health accreditation program that verifies a fully implemented safety and health management system which meets national standards. The objectives of COR® are to provide industry employers with effective tools to develop, implement, assess, and promote continual improvement of their safety and health management system to prevent or mitigate incidents and injuries as well as their associated human and financial costs.

Management with employees, Melissa Lindley (Winnipeg) & Warren Mitru (Regina) started on the 4 required classes and the development of the safety program, which included months of creating, reviewing and revising Safe Work Procedures, Practices, Inspection Checklist; all items required for the program. Winnipeg submitted their first audit September of 2011 and Regina submitting theirs January of 2012. Winnipeg now celebrates 10 years of being COR Certified with Nick Park & Lacey Safonovs as our new COR certified staff members, Melissa though doing other tasks now is still readily available for consultation.
