Rigging Inspections are back!
After a lengthy hiatus due to COVID 19, and armed with COVID proof PPE and procedures, our Winnipeg, MB location has resumed weekly, on-site rigging inspections. Pictured below are team members Donald B. (top) and Manfred K. (bottom). This inspection was performed at Graymont Ltd. in Faulkner, MB, approx. 225 kms northwest of Winnipeg.
Graymont is a lime plant, consisting of a preheater rotary kiln that produces both high-calcium quicklime and dolomitic lime. The kiln is fired with pulverized coal and petcoke. Seven silos provide storage for pebbled, pulverized and crushed quicklime or dolomitic lime. The plant is fully equipped with truck load-out equipment. In addition to quicklime production, the plant produces calcium carbonate.
